Quick update from Seattle on my piece in issue six of mixtape - I made it to i heart rummage this weekend past. The venue, Chop Suey, is definitely very cool and it was fun to wander around up on stage and into the front bar looking at crafty goods.
We haven't lived in Seattle for very long so I'm always excited to recognise somebody. Leah Fadness of rabbitrabbit designs works at the restaurant where I go to knit night (hooray!) but she also makes these snuggly soft toys and does great lino prints using oil-based ink and a printing press on her paper goods. She'll be opening an etsy shop soon but you can of course find her at i heart rummage.
